Overview
Robin is a healthy lifestyle enthusiast looking to build an easily managed recipe hub to funnel her audience to. We opted for WordPress with blogging and shop capabilities, and we chose a design that allowed Robin to maintain the site as her business grew.
The background
Robin is a nutritionist, trainer, influencer, and healthy lifestyle enthusiast. As a mom and a food-lover, her mission was to offer other busy moms options for quick, healthy meals. She was in need of branding that matched her personality – warm, comforting, welcoming, limitless – and a website that felt like a digital cookbook created by your best friend.
The planning
We started out with my favorite: an in-depth strategic planning workshop. We went over all of the big and the little details: audience profiles, brand attributes, business goals, product suite, and oh-so-much more. With the foundation built, we worked through how we’d showcase the content on her site through brand identity and a site map. After a bit of back-and-forth and then final approvals, we began the actual build!

The website
At the core, this website really needed to be a recipe vault; Robin wanted to be able to add new recipes on a regular basis, as well as blog posts and digital products. It needed to be both easy for her to maintain and for her audience to binge. We landed on a 4-page WordPress website with an additional blog and shop included.
The result
The result was a website that Robin has been adding to consistently – the website has grown tremendously since then and the branding has remained consistent. This was not by accident. Thanks to her openness and dedication, our lengthy workshop, and the thoughtful branding, Robin has a site that will grow with her as long as her business does.
