LA based website design services

For non-profits, large organizations, and solopreneurs.

Listen: we do not sacrifice function for beauty (or vice versa!) around here.

The work that you do is so important and truly impacts those you do it for.

This means that it’s incredibly important that your website both represents your brand the right way AND prioritizes your audience.

You want them to feel encouraged and excited when they find your website. You want them to find you, learn about you, and engage with you easily and eagerly.

That’s why I prioritize:

  • The longevity of your website, so you’re not spending money on anything that won’t last you long-term
  • Functionality, because we’re building a website to fix your problems…not cause you more problems
  • The end user, your audience, the ones who will actually be using your website

“You are truly wonderful to work with – so a heartfelt thank you on all levels.”

My process

Phase 1: Discovery

We start with understanding your goals and examining the difference between where you currently are and where you want to be. We work backwards, in a sense, to figure out what is currently holding you back from meeting those goals. Once we’ve identified your pain points, we work to identify how we fill those gaps in a strategic and meaningful way.

Phase 2: Design

Here, we iron out the user experience. We’ll build wireframes that act as the blueprint for your site. We put together a prototype so you can see how we’ll layout the text and images text, and we’ll use this to outline how a user will navigate through your site. Then we add in your branding! Using the wireframe as our template, we’ll add in your brand identity – colors, fonts, image treatments, backgrounds, etc.

Phase 3: Build

Now to the best part: putting it all together! Using the framework that we decided works best for you during our discovery phase, we’ll get to the actual building of your website. We put all of the content in place, connect your domain, and do a few QA checks before launch.

Phase 4: Launch

Now your site is live! The goal of all that pre-work is to arrive at launch day seamlessly and to avoid any post-launch conundrums. We do so much strategic planning and prepping in those early phases that launch typically goes off without a hitch – and that’s the whole point!

Frequently Asked Questions

No worries! We’ll take a look at what you have and see if we can work with that first, before deciding whether or not you need a complete overhaul. I’m never going to have you do something just for the sake of doing it – that costs time and money that doesn’t really need to be spent.

I have experience with WordPress, Hubspot, Shopify, Squarespace, and Wix (although I’ll be honest, Wixs is not my favorite).

We can do it one of two ways.

  1. If you know how much time you’ll need each month and want priority access, you can prepay each month and have a set number of hours to use. (Note: These preset blocks come with a 10% discount)
  2. If you’re not sure how much time you’ll need, we do an hourly setup. Whenever you need my help, I just keep track of the hours I spend on your site and bill you at the end of each month.

Honestly, it’s hard to give an estimate without knowing exactly what you would need. I can tell you, that my pricing starts out as follows:

One-page website (landing page): starting at $2,400

5-Page website: starting at $5,000

E-commerce website: starting at $8,000

Custom website: starts at $10,000

If you’re wondering how to budget for a website, check out my blog post “How much does a website cost?“.

Just like pricing, this varies depending on what you need. From start to finish, I would budget anywhere between 6-weeks up to 3-months. If you’re looking to get something done QUICK, you might be interested in my One Week Website.
