One Week Website

One week – and minimal stress – to a website that you’re actually excited to show potential clients.

The One Week Website is the perfect opportunity to build a website you love without the nightmare of DIYs or months of hemming and hawing.

And let me clarify: I literally mean one week. Seven days. 168 hours.

Websites are overwhelming

Think of building a website like it’s a cooking class (..stay with me)

Let’s say you have a big dinner planned in a few weeks. Think 12 guests, nice outfits, three-course meal. You have two main options:

Option 1:
You can buy the ingredients, practice the recipe, maybe even take a few cooking classes if you’re feeling dedicated enough. Then the day comes…you do the cooking, plate all the food, then study everyone’s reactions to see if they actually like the meal or if they secretly hate it.

Or Option 2:
You go with the stress-free option and have it catered.

Your website is no different.

Ditch the diy Nightmare

You can spend the time learning how to design and manage your own website, spend hours Googling, maybe take a course or two, only for you to question and second guess every design choice you make.

The bottom line is that however you choose to do it, your website is a reflection of your brand and the best way to establish legitimacy with your audience.

You know that having a website is a must – having one done well is a must-must.

The One Week Website gets it done quickly and beautifully.

Why a one week website?

I’ve been designing websites for 20 years and a few things I’ve gathered are:

  • Too many clients feel overwhelmed with the idea of building their website themselves. They don’t know where to start, there’s so much to learn, the YouTube videos are endless, and it all feels like more work than it’s worth.
  • The content is SO hard. Sourcing assets that feel on brand and crafting copy that makes sense often takes months of constant roadblocks, back-and-forth, and second-guessing.
  • Despite all of this, they still feel overwhelmed at the idea of hiring the task out. Far and wide, the biggest concern is “but what if it still takes months with a designer?”

After years of noticing these same concerns, I created the One Week Website as a solution.

How we get from zero to website in one week

The one week website

This is a good fit for you if…

  • You want your website done quickly and done well (YES, we can do both!).
  • You want functionality and your audience’s journey to be top of mind from start to finish (because after all, your website is more for them than it is for you).
  • You’re done with the second-guessing – you want content that feels right and feels like YOU.

What you’ll get…

  • Choose from a single-page, five-page, or e-commerce site.
  • If you have current branding, it will be fully incorporated into your site. If you don’t have any yet, we’ll complete a brand assessment and create a basic visual identity for you.
  • All relevant copy written for you (one revision included).

What you’ll provide…

  • You’ll answer a long questionnaire that will fill me in on everything that’s in your brain. I’ll use this to determine the design, functionality, and copy for your site.
  • You’ll need to be available for 5-6 hours of meetings the week of your build, and we’ll need you to be on-call during launch day.
  • You’ll give us access to any branding, brand assets, logos, and current social media & web presence for us to review.

This offer includes three pricing tiers depending on the website type you choose. Your options are:

  • Single-page: $2,100
  • 5-page: $5,200
  • E-commerce: $8,200

The time will depend on a lot of factors, but in general you can allot 1-2 hours for the questionnaire, 1-2 for the kick-off meeting, 1-3 hours during the week for check-ins, and 2 hours on launch day to review

We’ll monitor the site for 72 hours after launch to ensure everything is working properly. If you upgrade to a hosting package, you’ll also get plug-in and theme updates as well as website monitoring

Absolutely not. We’re here to guide you whether you have no experience at all or have already been experimenting on your own

If you have none, our brand assessment will give you a basic visual identity that includes color and font options. If you are interested in receiving a full branding package before signing on to the One Week Website, browse my branding services here.

This service is specifically for ground-up website building. If you have a current one, we can pull inspiration from what you like and dislike about it, but your new website will be built from scratch. If you’re interested in having an existing website revised, check out my website services here.

The questionnaire is imperative to both the success of your website and to our timeline. If your questionnaire is not submitted by the Friday before our kick-off meeting, your spot will be forfeited and you’ll choose a new week.

We understand that life gets in the way sometimes, and we sure hope this doesn’t happen. If we miss our deadline, we’ll assess each of these situations on a case-by-case basis. You’ll never get charged for a mistake on our end, and we’ll be flexible with you where we can. At the end of the day, communication is key!
